Mixed methods research on the West Africa-Europe migration corridor

The study sought to understand the role information plays in the decisions of irregular migrants in West Africa. Our consultant managed data collection remotely across six countries: Mali, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Nigeria, Libya, and The Gambia. Methods included a structured survey (1053), In-depth interviews (130), and an analysis of social media communications. He was the primary author on the subsequent report, published by the European Commission with Optimity Advisors and Seefar.
